- Project Overview: Responsible for implementing a Local Area Processing (LAP) algorithm into hardware on the Shadow UAV POP 300. Tasks included the design of a microprocessor and FPGA based Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) with VHDL and C embedded programming. The CCA was designed to take the existing video stream and use an algorithm to improve the imagery contrast during Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The CCA was designed to pass MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 compliance testing.
